Namaste and welcome to Himalbiking!

We are delighted that you are thinking about a trip to Nepal!  Himalbiking was born out of Kumar's love for biking and for his country - exploring by bike is a fantastic way to see any country - fast enough to cover the distance, but slow enough to really get up close and personal to the culture, the smells, the sights and the amazing scenery.  However, you don't have to be a cyclist to discover the wonders of Nepal - maybe you prefer to travel by foot on one the great treks  - Everest Base Camp, Annapurna Circuit, Annapurna Base camp for example - or maybe you want a mixture of activity and sightseeing - we would thoroughly recommend our Nepal Highlights trip as a fantastic introduction the different aspects of Nepal - mountains, culture, history and jungles!  Have a look here.

Your trip organiser, Kumar Shrestha, has won awards for leading mountain bike trips in Nepal and Tibet for the world renowned travel company, Exodus - and for good reason - just see what his clients have to say on the Testimonials page.

Cyclists! Why not weave your way around paddy fields and small villages in the Kathmandu valley, find a bit of singletrack in the nearby National Park or take on the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu itself!

Experience high altitude at the Thorong pass (5416m) on the Annapurna circuit, fly into Jomsom’s tiny airfield in the early morning to explore Lower Mustang, cycle in the sunshine or even in the snow, bask in the heat of the Terai, looking for rhino and kingfishers in Chitwan National Park, relax by Phewa Lake in beautiful Pokhara or even include some white water rafting along the Kali Gandaki River.

We have a handful of suggested itineraries on the Trips page, but if you have your own ideas, tell us what they are!

Thinking about Tibet? Kumar has cycled from Lhasa to Kathmandu many times and will make sure that for you, this is a trip of a lifetime! Have a look at the Tibet page.

Himalbiking can organize trekking and climbing trips in all regions of Nepal – you just have to ask…
